After the Z Pots

In the late Nineties I went back to a more conservative two-slab vase. I went from the “I can hardly tell it’s a pot” idea to revisiting some classic shapes – but transformed by the wire-cut surface and two slabs plus bottom approach. I stretched and compressed the slab so that the volumes were strong but the flatness of the envelope was still there as well.
